Will STEEM hold the gains long enough for SBDs to print?

in #steem2 years ago (edited)

Let me know your thoughts below!

The recent STEEM pump took prices all the way to $.28 per coin roughly 18 hours ago, though we are currently moving sideways around $.255 per coin now.

Historically, these pumps over the last 2 years have given back all the gains.

While the longer term charts are slowly starting to look like STEEM might start holding some gains, what time do you think this one will be?

Will STEEM hold the gains long enough for SBDs to print, and why?

  • yes?

  • no?

  • maybe?

In order for SBDs to print we need a 3.5 day average price of STEEM of roughly $.255 per coin.

We need to increase the number of active users, I mean people who make a lot of quality content, and start the work of fair and conscientious curators. Then the Steem coin will grow and strengthen. Now it seems to me that the Steemit platform is just sleeping. This is my personal opinion, I could be wrong. It seems to me that it is necessary and time to raise the authority of the Steemit blockchain. I will try to do something useful to strengthen this blockchain. Thanks a lot for the informative post. I wish you success.

It's been about 45 minutes since you posted and I'm the only one commenting. Let's wait for other users.

Ever since the HIVE split, there has been users whose posts have been hidden from all feeds... This doesn't really help people being active with Steem. For me, it still looks like the whales are hoarding all the rewards making it pointless for others to be active.

Good afternoon. Probably the way it is. I have also seen a lot of good content without proper attention. Thank you very much for your comment. Good luck to you and all the best.

I personally think the issue is two-fold...

Some people were voted down to zero when they made original content, but at the same time people who copied stock images or text written by other people got voted up.

The other issue is the current crypto winter that forced some people to power down to get extra cash to pay electricity and food when the prices doubled or even tripled.

You can't really write a lot with small amount of Steem Power as it can take 4 days to recharge to high enough level. This means some people need to write shorter multi-part posts.

Thanks a lot. I don't have much experience in cryptocurrencies, any information deserves attention. Have a nice day.

Personally I think stock photos don't add real value to posts, so shouldn't affect the reward the users get... But some people seem to more likely vote posts with photos.

Thank you
