The Theory of Everything-Poem by Suchael A.

This is a poem by one of my students.

"Your life is just like a book
        You wrote it once
          It came up twice

You build your dreams in
tomorrow
Hoping to find the dove you
never had
Now, you realized that the
tomorrow you built your
dreams on and the yesterday
that scours your memories
are mere illusion of time!
How painful was it?

 You smile and chuckle
           everyday
 But the bells of time kept
     ringing in your ears
 Telling you you've fallen
 like the walls of babylon
     Sadly, you won't rise

Now you're coming of age
Keep this within you:
"destinies are like
troublesome things
You can't escape them, no matter how hard you try" "
