Apparantely everyone is wondering the same thing regarding steem

in #steem8 years ago

Doing a quick google search of steem, look at what comes up as the number one and number two hit:

That's right. Everyone wants to know if the steem coin is ever going to go up again!

Good for them because you can count me in with that group.

I am seriously wondering if I need to be dumping my altcoins and just sitting in BTC on this next pullback. This last month or so has just been brutal.

What do you guys think, will steem and altcoins have their day in the sun again or has the last few months given us a glimpse of things to come?

I'm kind of happy, because i was planning to buy some steem this month.

Imho, the November (or rather Movember) Segwit is sucking the life out of all the altcoins as investors are looking for "safe heaven", that's it - Bitcoin (plus the possibility of getting "free" forked coins helps). Actually, depending on the perspective it is a good time to build a position in ETH

@jondoe I believe reaching outside of self is the beginning of a bad decision.

While it’s good to hear both sides regarding matters; ultimately, the only person having to live with the decision in this matter will be y-o-u.

Now, with that said, I totally agree that the only word to describe the recent trend of Steem is brutal.

Being on the level of minnow, I don’t have much to lose; but, I am gleaning all I can from the big players on what I’d do if

In a recent post, I read that two hardforks are nearing. I don’t remember the details; but, I think release of the logo was one.

If I remember correctly, the hardforks usually mean a surge is imminent; that the value is suppressed to make people want to dump, allowing huge buys for pennies.

Whether we’re experiencing a lingering downturn, preparing to surge, is yet to be seen; and, thus the definition of successful traders.

Lastly, my persistent nagging remains: Until Steem finds a way to consistently GENERATE new funds, this unstable yo-yoing will persist.

And on the other hand, lately, I’ve seen some very interesting developments by fellow Steemians. For this reason, I continue to believe that in the long run, Steem will eventually get is footing; and take off on a steadier path.

I’m reminded of a fellow Steemian (can’t remember his name) who bought ~$4K worth of Steem last week; taking advantage of the buy low/sell high ‘mantra’. I’d have to believe he knows enough to know to stay with Steem a bit longer.

Now, back to the initial statement: The decision has to be yours! If you stay and it drops to a penny, the decision is yours. If you sell and invest elsewhere and it bounces to $100. overnight…the decision is yours.

Peace.

Hang in there buddy! As quickly as steemit is growing, it can't help but go back up eventually! Just keep steeming!

@jondoe I found a post that you might want to look at (comments, too) and check what speaks Peace to your spirit, thereafter.

It's an interesting read; and, I hope it helps you make sense of things.

Peace.
