Some good suggestions. I'll need to get a little more acquainted with Steem first before I do most of those. Also I live in a not so developed area of the Philippines, so maybe they are not ready for all that Steem yet.
You may be surprised. Today, a friend in the UK repaid me a few dollars of postage that I had spent here in California by doing an instant transfer of STEEM.
The Steemit platform is amazing and makes global commerce possible right now. But it works just as well in your home town. You just need to get all your internet using friends onboard. :D
