Rather than focusing on the past 48 hours I'd much rather draw attention to the fact Steem, as of this writing, holds a market cap of $312M. That number was not even 10% of what it is now a week ago. Similarly, the 24 hour USD volume was below 20K last week compared to what's fast approaching 1.3M the past 24 hours. It is way too early to say what will happen, but it's definitely too early to speak as if interest and activity has stagnated or even declined.
