What exactly does the "estimated value" on your wallet represent?
Is it an estimate of your earnings on total on dollars or What? Maybe I am being blonde but why is my estimated value (shown at the bottom of the wallet) different to my value of steem dollars?
It should represent the marketing value of your opinion or social impact. If you were Rihanna your Twitter account value would be millions. Since when she tweets she likes Pepsi for instance, half of the world mentions. If Rihanna joined Steemit, her account value would be the same as mine was until she reveals herself.
Ok so if i am wanting to know what i have earned in terms of actual US dollars i can look at the value indicated on the steem dollars section (as they are equal in value) yes?
Yes, Steem dollar should be equal to US dollar. Check the Rewards section in your profile to estimate your earnings. However, it may change a bit until it is paid the seventh day after publishing.
