First Impressions

First Impressions are hard to shake.

MY first impressions of Steemit have not been entirely positive. Firstly, when I attempted to create a story I simply was stuck 'loading' after hitting submit until the page timedout. Let's see if this post will go through.

Secondly, the Validate With Facebook requirement is a bit of a turn off, to be honest. I understand the reasoning, but... meh. Also don't like that there's no option to change the picture.

That said, I will definitely be sticking around — I know the site is in Beta. I'm very interested in the micropayments-for-content thing, and I really hope that it takes off.
