Am not trying to be pessimistic, trying to be real. @arcange reports have it that we have 400,000+ active steemians. In fact if every user there makes ONE single vote , it would have been enough. I know many are here because of the incentives, yet, giving out these incentives by the whales and witnesses is not costly compared to the rising of STEEM in the coin market.. I think the course is worth sacrificing VP and SPs. Till now , STEEM is still struggling to reach PACcoin's 5,200+ votes. Sad!
This is cold hard proof that every STEEMIAN is more than important.
So all those theories of DPOS and SP etc etc etc are debunked as here it is the HUMAN BEING that matters.

I sometimes get the feeling that many people don't understand the importance of something like this.
Apart from the obvious advantages to it all it also makes a grand statement to the public about Steem.
As it is an open to "everyone" contest.
Hence the value of this contest is a lot more than what meets the eye.
It's a bit like when we see Coca Cola sponsoring a motor rally or horse races or the Olympic games. It is all in the public and it leaves a very powerful message on the market.
In the crypto markets this is in many ways comparable.
That is how important this is in many comparable ways.

Yep, one vote per day, to my understanding.
Although, imo it is more important that we spread the word out among all our friends on all social networks we are on.
This needs to be a full on campaign in which all us Steemians pitch in with what resources we have, even if that be for example fbook.
Networking at its best and the result shall be a BOOM for STEEM and all of us!
I most definitely will not be sleeping much tonight after the PYPT show on the Ramble in Discord. Need to contact those that I haven't yet gotten a hold of. We all want OUR STEEM to GO TO THE MOOOOON!
