Yeah the view and the vote counters are something interesting . It baffled my mind when i first saw it , views are half the votes, such a shame i thought.

I am missing that bigger part in Steemit , although there are a lot of people it doesn't seem that way, at best there are small communities forming , apart from the mainstream (sports, such) where I don't really figure in.

When I was thinking about the issue I got to the realization that probably some bubbles will form and stay until something changes , I'm kind of sad that Steem isn't the perfect place to get into deep conversations ,learn from quality sources and open and share for your hearts content , while even making income in the process , just because you are a part of a helping community that has the best interests of everyone inside , but maybe we can make it happen :) !

I think everything is in our hands , if we develop an pay attention to the interesting and important topics , share that among ourselves and support each other day by day we can make something truly helpful and supportive.

One thing that I don't like in this platform is the fact that its like a marketplace of ideas , that expire for some reason. You only make the "cash" during the first day and week , afterwards , even if the subject is interesting , it just disappears to new people. Its a shame that the platform is making money only on interest and activity.

Hope some substantial projects spring from this place it really seems like a new platform that something unique to bring , Happy New Year ! ! ! : )
