RE: Accepting SBD/STEEM is not always necessary for stores. THEY COULD GIVE OUT FREE SBD/STEEM as a bonus!

Great idea how do you go about easily giving someone in person SBD like if someone walks into my store (I am actually sitting in right now by the way) and buys a shirt how do I give them the 5 free steem if they do not already have an account or any kind of cryptocurrecy wallet? Is there a way to physically print a code on the receipt that allows them to enter it or scan it into an app in order to redeem your free crypto?

I think it should work a bit like an upvote bot; you get a code and if you make an account then your post gets upvoted. The more if you write about the experience using the proper #tags.

Well you could hand out a pamphlet that talks about steemit, and says when you join, send your steemit username with this code number (add some serial number to the pamphlet) to this email adddress [email protected]

...and when they do, you now get their email address, plus you can manually send them some steem to their steemit username that they give you in the email.

I mean that would work in the beginning. Naturally we'd need some software to do that if this becomes busy and popular. But as a marketing test, you could do it manually this way to see if is popular.

This way you could also build up a marketing newsletter to your customers as well as introduce people to steem at the same time. :)

That's very cool that I was talking to someone in a real shop with this idea. :)

@timcliff was handing out 10,000 pamphlets you can see some designs on this post:
