STEEM Needs Advertising

We need advertising:

The very short case for why STEEM needs advertising.

This might be a rehash of our top20 Witness, @yabapmatt in his post shown below, but I need to reiterate the need for STEEM developers to pursue advertising opportunities.

1. Steem is the crypto that feeds off of audiences.
2. Advertising is the way to monetize audiences.
3. Crypto prices falter because demand and supply alone are irrelevant to value creation.
4. Why? Because people speculating also eventually exit. And STEEM's inflation means we need to create more demand than supply until the USD inflates faster than STEEMs inflation does.

Here's an idea that may or may not be possible (if you're a developer, run with it!):

I would love to see the creation of a website/dapp/whatever that could draw in advertising dollars that go straight to eliminating steem supply. Maybe the platform can take in advertising dollars or other outside funding ideas that increase steem power which goes straight to contributing (at least in part) to a null fund that black holes steem supply. Is it possible? Yes. But is it viable given its altruism? I hope someone's up for the challenge to make the idea viable.
