Why Steem will never rise as before...
Dear steem-bountiers
in these days crypto market cap is going to values very interesting, but Steem is still loosing places.
Now in Coinmarketcap is over 50 top and the coin value is not able to reach 0,5 usd.
Last week i bought 200 steem and many users adviced me to power up.
But what for?
Steem is already old coin and many new coins are coming.
The crypto market is based on simple priciple, Bitcoin and the others top 10 coins are the safe, the new coins with good power are increasing their value and old coins like Steem are no more interesting for the market.
So we are a great community, now we have new dapps like drugwars and magicdice growing, we have advertise in Steemit, and what is the benefit?
Nothing! The Steem value is not changing, even there is a spring in crypto market.
In my opinion we are suffering the anarchy system of our community and new investors stay away.
What is your opinion my friends?

A lot of great feedback.
Let's look at the launch of Amazon. When Amazon launched its had a huge run up. Then it dropped over 80% and people were like that's the end of Amazon. Now Amazon is up way over where it was, and that 80% drop it had looks like nothing.
I see the same thing happening with the crypto market as a whole. This platform has a lot of potential to grow, yes there are lots of barriers to entrance that is keeping it from mass adoption Facebook, but with services such as @esteem and @Partiko we moved closer to a more mass adopted market potential.
All said and done everything is a gamble in life. There are new coins coming out and perhaps steem in a few years will be behind the curve if we don't change, however at this point this is still the strongest platform for generating revenue through your content.
I encourage you to power up as well take advantage of establishing yourself as a content creator before the boom comes.
when bitcoin pump all good crypto do it also I hope. old it's not bad on my opinion its time test, steem did not drop to 0.05 at least when other coins fall dramatical...

Hi! I think there are several reasons which can affect on STEEM. First of all promotion which should be better espessialy from STEEM inc.
Big work for promotion makes @NathanMars at twitter as you can know.
The next thing in my opinion to attract people we should be open and more often use share2steem at our other social pages to let people know about STEEM.
So we should show that we are community and we are together!
Earlier every week @ originalworks made writing contests which I think also helped to involve people to STEEM.
About anarchy it's hard to say for me but I think STTEM inc loose the way which was at the beggining when community was growing fast. And now we just see changes like RC or steem walet.com and advertisement at steemit.com which not shows company from the best side imo.
Actually, I am equally worried with the downtrend of Steem while the market was bullish for most Cryptos.
In my opinion, I think Steem needs more marketing, advertising and hype.
Also, I think the Steem Alliance group should put up a structure to fight against unnecessary flags and flag wars as well put up a structure to assist and guide new Steemians.
We cannot talk about mass adoption of Steem when we don't make it easy for people to adopt Steem.

I believe Steem has all it takes to leap for success.
It has quality, maybe those who got out may have felt betrayed because of their expectations,
or was not patient enough.
As a new member, I think the combination of gamers, authors, bloggers, artists, bots, A.I.,
new applications which can not be seen in other community will go a long way.

I think Steem will bounce back with the potential of blockchain gaming and hot projects such as Steem-Monsters being mainly focused on the STEEM currency .... value will come again in time.
