Dear steem-bountiers

I would like to make this bounty to find user could give to @ned some advise how to turn out from this melded situation.
Another time @steem-bounty is the voice of who believe in Steemit, so please send all best advices...

XVG is being rumoured to get a listing on a new exchange called BitThumb and thats why the price has pumped 50% in the last few days. There are plenty of Steemians campaigning to get steem on exchanges like Coinbase and Kucoin which would do wonders for trade volumes and access to new investors

We can't blame @ned for everything. Higher valuations also doesn't mean one coin is successful over another, you have to look at trading volumes, marketcap and circulation and take all of that into account too!

I think 40 cent range for steem is a far price and helps redistribute stake to members faster which is what we need, its also an attractive price to buy in considering ATH is a 20x increase.

I think that if we want higher valuation the community should come together and see how we can force the hand on exchanges to list STEEM

You are right my friend, now Verge is just a position over Steem, but this not means we are out of the meld, what do you want to suggest to @ned about Steemit evolution?

Honestly, I would say they should double down on SMT's so dApps have more freedom but also more responsibility to recruit and bring value to the chain and then and look at alternative ways of bringing in revenue into the ecosystem like ads.

While trying to reduce the cost of running nodes to make it more viable for them and more community memebers to set up and run one

Dear my friend, i think this matter of ads is very good chance for Steemit expecially if they are connected with the crypto world, because as you can see from this article:
https://medium.com/tabularasa/the-war-on-crypto-blockchain-by-facebook-google-and-twitter-5e958c18a36b
the crypto ads are banned from standard social networks....

I almost hate to say this, but finding a way to inject adds and their associated revenue into the system could be a boost to Steem. The trick is that adds will have to be paid for with Steem so that those that wish to advertise must buy into the currency, which will trigger a spike in demand.

Dear my friend, i think that ads can be useful to whom have no money to invest but it can accept to see some advertise in order to get some RC, so this will be very democratic. what do you think?

That is basically what I was thinking. A way to turn a solid following into a little more Steem that just a pure post earnings. I'd love to see big companies buy up large chunks of Steem to pay for ads.

Yes but not like facebook, it should be a choice, many super user like Steemit as it is without ads and if they do not need to see them, they deserve it....

Netcoins isn't even that important IMHO. I've written in length about this: https://steemit.com/steem/@vimukthi/netcoins-the-farce-of-stake-less-voting-and-my-disappointment-in-steemians-cryptocurrency-price-prediction

Verge is a decent coin. But they have nothing to compete with STEEM. I genuinely like the current STEEM prices. This is a great opportunity to gather more STEEM. Consider this a market irregularity. Housing bubble kept growing for years. This was a market distortion caused by investment. It finally blew up didn't it? We have the opposite situation here.

I think the Steemit,Inc will push more DAPP developers to make the ecosystem truly decentralized. If @ned or any whale has to matter, then it would mean we are not anti-fragile.

Keep calm and Happy Steeming!
(You'll smile reading these posts 3-5 years later don the road)

Dear @vimukthi, i perfectly agree with you about nonsense to join this Netcoins list for a serious coin as Steem it is, but this was starting from our boss @ned, he started to ask help our coin in this contest and we won, so this post is sarcastich about it.
I agree on you Steem is very appetible price, but what about firing 70% of workers in whole market eyes? It not seems they are going to bankrupt?

One I idea that I really liked was bringing ads to Steemit, that would help a lot with the costs and would even avoid crisis like this when the prices go down.
And most importantly, I don´t think it would be to hard or expensive to implement.

I really like the point you mention that we all supported STEEM on the contest and now it´s time to see the other half of this project doing something great to make this platform prosper.

Thank you for sharing your very useful opinion

The price of the Steem coin is not entirely dependent on Ned. There are things that Ned can do that will effect the price, but it's likely only to be in the long-term. The whole market has dropped because of the decrease in Bitcoin price, so there's not much any normal person can do about that, even if they're the CEP of the company that created the coin.

The best things that he can do right now are get SMTs online. If that means doing it in-house, great. If that means having the decentralized community work on it, that's ok too! The advantage of them doing it in-house is then everyone won't steal it like they do the open-source coding for the Steem blockchain. We'll see what direction he wants to go, but I would worry more about the underlying fundamentals of the blockchain and less about the daily price. The low price just means it's a buying opportunity.

Dear my friend, i am president of a polish company and nobody will say that is not my fault if my company will going to bankrupt and firing 70% of workers is not a good message for whole crypto market which is already in deep crisis...:((

You're right, a lot of the blame goes back to those at the top of a company. I don't know how Steemit Inc is run, so I can only speculate as to why things are going the way they are. It's too bad though. Maybe in the long-run it will be a good thing for Steem even if it isn't for Steemit Inc.

Hello @intellihandling:
When a company dismisses 70% of its personnel, it is an indicator according to economic trends, which is operating at less than 50% of its productive capacity.
My recommendation: is that I evaluate why the low of a position from being the number 6 to the number 48 in less than two years.
At what point you start to trust in steemit, and investors go to other cryptocurrencies that generate more confidence.
This generates a lot of hopelessness in those of us who make life in the community betting that we will get out of this crisis-

Yes this is exactly what is going on after @ned words, most of outside Steemit comments are betting when Steemit will go to bankrupt...:(((

Hmm I honestly am not stressed about Steemit falling on CMC. The whole crypto is one big ship, we either all rise 10x or fall 10x. If we're number 30 or 40 doesn't really matter to me. When it comes to Ned, I can't decide what to think of him. I've seen him talking sense and also act like a kid. I like that he's being soo informal as he is. I hope the next generation will be more like this instead of suits and handshakes. But as long as it comes to CMC position, if we're not out of top 100, I'm fine with that. You have to realize that STEEM is inflationary currency with much higher rate than all the others. It's not appealing to outside investors who can't utilize it here on the platform.

Soo yeah, myadvice to Ned would be to act bit more formal altho it doesn't really help the platform massively I think :)

Dear my friend, i think @ned is just a young guy which have no experience of market world and we are going to pay the price of his behaviour in front of market, showing Steemit in deep crisis is not good message for crypto investors...:((

Well what should he do tho. He had to fire those people cuz there's no money for their pay. If he fired them without making a video, someone would find out couple of hours later anyway. Or?

I do not agree my friend, he was posting smiling face and playing guitar since few days ago and now suddenly he is discovering the hell???

Hmm...that's a good point, I've watched that vid. I just don't understand what people want from him :D The only problem is that the market is falling and price is low. He can't do anything about it.

The other thing is that the steem.com page he was walking about in the first vid had several problems, typos and 404s. That's a shame. I'd understand critique of that, actually read a post about it from a guy with similar name to yours but on Whaleshares haha :D But yeah, most people just blame him for bearmarket in general I feel. Just stay patient, that's the game we signed up for.

Hahaha

I know it isn't a joking matter but this made me laugh

Not only posting smiling face or playing guitars and suddenly write that you fired 70% of Steemit worker!!!

I don't know the specifics but I doubt if a netcoin listing is really going to be a big deal. If it was, @ned wouldn't have minded paying the $30k listing fee

Anyway, you've raised good points in your piece

I'm hoping @ned responds

Frankly speaking i do not think that @ned will spend his time to see the post of a red fish and answer me, the point is i am looking for to give some suggestion to him in order to go out from this meld, so if you will give a good advice it will be very useful...
