No. Smooth supports it.

Not sure about criminal considering the nature of blockchain and dPOS, as well as the way the stake was obtained.

We going to roll over that again....crypto's have been determined to have value so people can proceed in court to sue when wronged. This just may be the big one that accelerates those behind blockchain technology that they aren't beyond the long arm of the law. Before it was just small fries filing complaints trying to make a pile big enough for someone to take notice....now they've done went up against someone much richer than them who could hire a lawyer and be in court in no time. At best their only legal option was to power down and leave steem and before making radical changes that could result in potential losses at best justinsuns options before doing so would be notification so they could remove their investment, and that's exactly what both parties would get told in a court of law. Justin has no right of determination over their stake without notice of change and they have no legal right over his to force him to tell what his plan of actions are. A judge would tell them he can do whatever he wants as long as there is sufficient notification to opt out. (I have no stake in this game but I will be trying to figure out how to unvote witnesses as I proxied them to some else whom I have no idea who they voted, all's I know is I don't want to end up in some legal hassle should that happen and be accused of being supportive of a illegal maneuver by supporting those who made the move.)

I have zero faith in your knowledge of the law.

LOL, you proxied your vote to someone, but don't know how to unproxy? And, you don't know who they vote for?

I have to do it through my keychain which somehow got screwed up, I've just spent the last hour trying to figure it all out. I really have no interest in voting for witnesses, I don't know who those people are and the all the changes they've made here since I've been here have been a detriment to the lower tier. There's no real voice behind protecting those on the lower tier. That's why this isn't a decentralized platform. If you want me to be honest I'll tell you what every one's problem is, that is now someone's come along that threatens them, they have been getting rich off their circle jerking sock puppetry for so long now they are quivering in their shoes at the prospects they could get screwed like the little guy. I find it rather ironic myself. I even made a little meme out of it the other day:

You aren't the only above average person on the chain, I trusted tcpolymath, he knew the inner workings of the system way better than I did but the hierarchy managed to get him to decide to finally hang the place up.

Far as the law goes I know way more about the way the system is designed here than you do. You are not a lawyer either on top of being a foreigner. I also know if Sun does file suit it won't be in China, China doesn't like him, he no longer lives there and there's been no announcement the company headquarters are or have been moved out of the US. I am not saying he'll go that route, this may all work out, who knows, but you really can't say the lower tier isn't finding a bit of consolation in the upper tier sweating it out until it does after all the sweating we've done the last couple years. If it's any consolation to you I hardly doubt he'll go the route of litigation, all the illegalities, the scamming, the ponzi like scheme crypto's have been getting away with who'd want the legal system taking a look at all the criminality. Even the lady at the state (I think it was you I was talking to about her) after spending three days on the site told me I should be talking to the FBI but they'd probably just end up being paper stackers like the ftc. I know you don't want to hear it, you guys don't care, you've manged to circle the wagons to protect yourselves while leaving everybody else out in the dust. It's evident everywhere, there are just as many people happy to see Justin take over the place as their are disgruntled and worried circle jerkers going around in cirlces enriching themselves. They could have really done something bigger than FB would have ever been but their greed got in the way and it's been downhill ever since. At least they have a ray of hope he'll take the platform in the right direction, willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Anything would be better than watching someone make thirty bucks off an article about three piles of shit hanging from a ceiling or the guy yesterday who wrote a three, four paragraph article about the keychain now being offered in different languages and that tid bit of information made him sixty some dollars.
