"You can't use your ninja-mined stake unless you use it on us"

in #steem4 years ago (edited)

So what is it?
We call this stake Justin acquired to be unfair, ninja-mined, illegally taken. Yet, everyone wants him to spend it on us.

I don't want Justin to take over steem and have his little puppet show either and I am amazed how much we managed to push back. Good job everyone!

Yet it amazes me to see people refer his stake as a stolen tv and say "even though you brought it, it's still stolen...(but please by all means put it up for us all to watch).

Maybe I will regret this post tomorrow when the hangover kicks in.

But some of you guys should really check up on your opinions. I could make a lot of these flowers pictures.

Did someone say milk?

Milk say someone did?

Dib it

It was a perfect business transaction. I think if you look at it, most people would say that it was the most legal and perfect transaction that ever happened. Also, Ned is one of the best guys. It's true. so true.

Some folks on the other side are saying that the stake was ninja mined. So many lies. Ninjas probably aren't even real. I never saw one.

The steem community accepted the ninja-mined funds on the promise that they would be used to help develop the community. I fail to see the hypocrisy in asking that the funds be used for their originally stated purpose.

I fail to see any substantial attempt to make sure these funds would be used for exactly that. Most just empty promises on Ned's behalf.

Obviously they were empty promises.

The promises were still made though. Are you calling people hypocrits for expecting someone to keep their promises? Do you even know what that word means?

???

The funds were regularly sold for fiat used to pay the salaries of a number of developers at Steemit, Inc who developed the blockchain code. How is that not using the funds for their original promised purpose?

Pretty lively debate in this comment section :D

Who would have thought... lol
