The thing that I can't understand is people don't realize that if Obama did not turn Poland down to set up the Iron Dome over there, we wouldn't have to worry so much about the EMP's. He spoiled that protection and deterrent program from even existing badly. That left Europe and us more vulnerable.
EU is already talking about creating a new internet...
That is entirely possible and almost needed. It will be interesting to see if it would integrate with the same IT professionals without needing training, or if the design would need a new form of education like SAP was to AS400 users or UNIX would be to DOS/Windows users.
