Steemit Growth: 3% user growth in 24hrs
Steemit's user base is growing at a significant rate. Although the numbers are still relatively small, with no significant advertising we are seeing strong growth which is great for the platform and the Steem holders at large. I believe we could see a critical mass event sometime in the next 12 months...

In less than 24hrs total number of Steemit account has grown from 14,500 to 14,632. This represents a 1% gain in user numbers in less than 24hrs. The more this platform continues to deliver return to content creators, the stronger this growth will continue. I have been blown away with Steemit so far, and it's great that the early adopters are getting a big stake in the future success of Steemit (something which no other social media platform has delivered)

ned-reddit-login just confirmed there are around 4700 accounts, and around 150 sign up each of the last few days. This runs the growth rate at around 3% per day...
Do this website have an history function or have you just written down the number of yesterday?
I just so happened to look yesterday and put it in another post of mine, then had a look today and noticed the difference. I also have it at 14,200 on the 3rd, 14,419 on the 4th from this post...

It's actually much higher! That # of accounts (14k) was inflated by account miners. There really are about 4700 accounts created through Steemit, and ~150 sign ups past days each.
Good to know. Is there somewhere we can easily track user growth excluding miners?
