SCAM Alert!! coindirect.com
Coindirect is a SCAM
Yesterday, I was searching online for a way to purchase Steem directly with a credit card, without having to buy Bitcoin first.
I stumbled upon a website called coindirect.com and it promissed to be able to purchase at least 34 different Crypto currencies with a credit card. I immediately signed up, which was a quick and easy proccess. I charged Euro 50 to my credit card and within seconds I had 434.919 Steem showing on my coindirect wallet! I was so excited and thought I had found a gem!
Now comes the Scam... I then tried to withdraw 100 Steem to my Hercules account on Steemit, and my good feeling were crushed! the transfer never happend and was never posted on the blockchain.
So conclusion: coindirect.com is a SCAM website and please be very careful not to fall for their trick and sending them money! I am surprissed this website is still operational since it was created 2 years ago, and they only have negative reviews, so I now learned a hard lesson, to do my do deligance research, before trusting a website with Crypto exchange.
Here are some red flags:
- their Crypto Charts are not real charts
- They do not have a physical business address.
- Customer support is non existent
Please, Please, please be careful and do not fall for this scam!!!
You cannot purchase Steem with a credit card over this website, they will just take your money!
You will lose your Money!
