I've been here a couple months and the insincerity is the first thing that stood out. There are people who share thoughtful comments and you can tell they're just trying to get a vote, but at least they put some time and effort into what they're saying.
The group that bugs me are basically e-beggars with lazy, low-effort "thank you for posting"-type content. It's like chicks fishing for compliments and attention on Insta, but instead of putting SOME work into a cute photo they just snap a pic of themselves laying in bed, messed up hair and face pushed back showing off the double chin.
What is wrong with double chin??? Thought you had issues with insincere comments.

Then join me in down-voting the lazy “awesome post” comments. Today I am downvoting certain spam comments at just 1% power which basically does no harm but might send a message.
How do you down vote a comment? Are you talking about flagging them. I have a few on my posts that I wish would go away. I want to talk to real people not "nice post", "please follow", "and my favorite new one "please send me SBD"
I am talking about flagging them. It’s good if you explain why you flagged but if no time, they will know anyway.
thank you I am still rather new here and still learning things. It just bothers me a little that people come on posts and spam things. It adds no value to the post. When they do this on other platforms you can simply delete it. I guess I will have to get used to it being different here. Thank you for answering my question.
