Steem chart review, April 22 @ 19:45 PST
The weekly chart of steem is looking bullish with 3 green heikin ashi bars printed
It is trading above the 50 week moving average which is also a positive sign
Stochastics have reversed from the bottom and are rising.
On the daily chart, the 20 dma has crossed over the 50 dma which is a bullish sign.
Price was trading just below the upper bollinger band and has now started a sideways consolidation.
Stochastics have made their way just under the 80 level, another bump in price would probably push it over 80 and in the overbought zone.
This is a daily line chart from the start of 2018 for Steem in Blue and BTC in Red. There is correlation as with most cryptos vs BTC (The defacto king)
Steem is ranked #31 by marketcap at $822M
The Korean exchange Upbit leads the volume with 3M+ over 24hrs. It is also a Steem/KRW trade, not Steem/BTC.
According to HypeStat.com, Steemit has 289K daily visitors.
An Alexa rank of 1260 which is quite impressive.
Google trends shows a decline in the searches for Steemit, similar to the price. Venezuela remains in the #1 spot followed by the crypto loving South Koreans.
The total reward fund is 745K Steem and the total accounts produced to date is 960K. Steemit will have over 1M accounts produced this year. Out of 1M, how many are active???

It is a review of the Steem cryptocurrency and some data regarding this platform, Steemit. You might want to read up on the basics of cryptocurrencies. I'd start with Bitcoin and the blockchain technology. On the top level, it is not that complicated, but in deep it is.
