RE: I escaped from the hospital! - Why you should NEVER get sick in a shitcountry

in #steem7 years ago (edited)

I feel you man.. my country is kind of the same.. you have 1-2 specialists that are good but not cheap and have quite the busy schedule and the rest just experiment on you and make things worse.. I've had a pretty bad run with a bad infection in my throat which no one really diagnosed properly for 3 months.. and me at the time - a professional singer and actor was having the best time of my life.. Nowadays I read and read and try to fix myself up and just pray i don't need surgeries or any serious hospital related help.. i hope it all works for the best for you and you get rid of them buggers in your body!

It seems that shitcountries share the same medical shortage.

Well i am living in the UK now for a bit less than 2 years and in London it isn't any better. Haven't experienced it myself because i try to avoid doctors at all costs.. but from what i've heard others complain about is waiting for ages for appointments. If you need a specialist you might have to wait for weeks just to get an appointment with them and months or more for a surgery. At least for foreigners like me that is but about 50% of the population if not more is foreign in London..

Do not take chances on your health, If possible stay 10 miles away from hospitals but we are humans and we will get sick once in every while, so choose some good doctors or go abroad if you have serious health issues but do not compromise on your health @renzoarg , i am a living example of this, due to a bad surgery i am disabled for the last 7 years and i cannot walk now.
