Justin Sun/Steem/Steemit Future

in #steem2 years ago

It seems Justin Sun will not be as active on Crypto as he was before, seems he will take a space flight and then become some sort of ambassador for Grenada. Of course this leaves Steemit users and Steem owners with an unpredictable future. Will Justin still back Steemit? Will Steem price tank? These are questions everyone around here asks himself.

Of course Steem does not depend on somebody writing a great piece on Steemit, it depends on how welcoming people are to the token, how many are willing to invest here. And I will tell you something that the Steemit administration is not aware of, for a coin to be healthy there has to be higher and higher trade levels, better said more people selling and more people buying.

But on Steemit the administration's idea is to have everybody stake their coins with 50/50, 75 and 100. This not only makes members leave, it has a direct impact on the acceptance of the token in markets, besides being a direct threat to the free will of every owner. I really think this forcing people to stake coins will backfire, in fact I think it already is backfiring, Get smart Steemit team, trash this idea it is not good for the platform.

I think right now what is needed is to reach out and have everybody propose ideas that can really help Steem and Steemit. The SCA is good but now it seems to have become a niche for a small number of people due to the posting restraints. Perhaps smaller votes for a larger audience from @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 encompassing all communities? I believe that copuld be a starter, I am sure people here can come up with hundreds of ideas to improve things and make the platform thrive. Perhaps a community just targeting this issue?
