Steem has great potential but what makes it not so great platform is the number of users it have. It has a small number of users and most of them have duplicate accounts or bots while other platforms have millions of users. So, it cannot be successful without increasing its user base.

The points you have made above cannot be overemphasized - we need more and more people to come on board.
