I'm glad you added a but. Because it is not as simple as throwing in new users. They must be accommodated properly so they don't flee right away. The platform need optimisation, both in speed and user friendliness. And once again, the number of steem in circulation is set to double. So the user base should at leas quadruple to get good growth.
I definitely agree with you, @funkit. I believe that Steem will gain traction once when they show that they can catch up with the big players. And therefore, as you said, it needs a lot more user value than now.
