Please help me understand Steem
Hey there!
I read the FAQs ..
I haven´t been in the Chat room yet, it´s late already and I actually want to go to bed.
However, I observed, that a "vote" doesn´t always give the same amount of $ ...
I brought an example, let me show you, 3 different post, 3 different votes, and 3 totally different amounts of $ ..
why?
Please help me understand. I´m looking forward to read the discussion tomorrow morning after I woke up!
My first day on Steem was a good one :)
Oh and by the way, I´m not having 2 $ Symbols instead of 2 eyes, I just want to understand ...
I´ll also support the movement by buying some STEEM with BTC!

Vote strength of an account is related to the amount of steem power they hold. So not all votes are created equal on steemit. If you are more invested into the site, you have a stronger vote.
Ah alright, that´s the Steem power i have to build up ..
Because now, if i give a vote i give 0,00$ :D :D :D :D

It takes quite a bit to make a difference all on your own, I think this account votes with almost 5000 SP and I give about 4 cents. Keep in mind that the payout for a post is determined by the cumulative amount of SP that has voted for it. So even though your vote may not give much, it is still a part of their end reward and does actually make a difference, especially if a bigger holder also votes.
If you post and participate in the community, and work to increase your SP you will find your self with a stronger and stronger vote as time goes on. It's pretty fun increasing peoples rewards with your vote, not gonna lie.
