I have moved all my content away from the now centralized and controlled Steem blockchain to the decentralized Hive blockchain.
to be honest i really wish i had the funds to buy like mad in the current market i see the downward spiral and all i can think is there's to much money invested in this system for it to go broke this is the work of a handful of whales cashing out right before the new year without a care in the world to what it does to the rest of us and i wish i could make the most of it.
top that off with steemmonsters holiday sp bonus and some other steem related goodies floating around and you have the beginnings of the push towards smt's and what they are going to do for bringing new people into steem and hopefully more money in the process.
I don't think that a few lonely whales were responsible for the bear market. There are tons of different factors involved, including heavy market manipulations by banks. The ones who cashed out were the smart ones and hopefully we all learned our lesson to also cash out some of our holdings at the next all-time high, when the game starts anew.
Yeah, SMT's are super interesting. I heard some of them can technically never go down to zero due to their locked-away Steem. Compunding interest forever. :P
I believe it's related to BTC drop and the other factors you mentioned... Most of exhangers buy/sell in BTC/STEEM rahter than USD/STEEM.. I hope it goes up in the new year, I don't think it'll go up by the christmas.
Yeah, me neither. We have to be more patient and concentrate on growing our Steem Power in the meantime.
