I'm fully on board with sbi and giving it away and getting my own through contests as fast as I can. The two worst things about steemit for me are:

• the kill rate for minnows
• the 95% of value held by the top 1% of steemians.

I think sbi helps both of those issues. When you are new here - seeing any vote on your post is encouraging. And this is a good way to trickle down some of the rewards - no matter how small.
