I have seen a few heavy hitters in my genre try here and fail. I hope he knows what he's up against in terms of workload.

My best advice for someone coming in with success is to

  • power up
  • upvote and reply to comments

Secondly, invite his fanbase a la jerrybanfield. Those people are automatic upvoters where the steemit crowd is not.

Steemit is much more reliant on interaction than any other platform. Your friend is unlikely to have time to visit many other people in a browsing fashion, so he needs to develop those who come to him.

I think that will be a game changer for steemit.

I agree that people must bring in their fan following here, but I do think that Sam Seder will be able to produce content that will have impact on the Steemit ecosystem, I just read his post and I enjoyed reading it.
