RE: Improving Steem liquidity through using buying / selling pools

in #steem8 years ago

You make a good case and thanks for the insights into how the market currently works. Steemit should consider hiring a market microstructure consultant, or full-time professional, to tackle this issue as it lies at the heart of our ecosystem.

lol yea I would be happy to help.
The funny thing is since years im thinking about something like steemit and suddenly its there. I would love to see steemit evolve to a kind of virtual federation of freedom lovers with its own economy. Not everybody must necessarily take an active part in the federation. We could make many faces for steem. For example one for bloggers, one for facebookers, one for redditors, one for people that are interested in a free nation, one for traders etc. So people could choose where they want to take part. Maybe some are only interested in blogging, maybe some use it simple to buy stuff. In the next days I will outline different aspects how we could evolve further. Liquidity pools are one part of it, but im also thinking of basic income, decentralized federation with liquid democracy, how to encourage using steeming and at the same time promote a freedom based common good economy and how to design an economic system that is in the long run fair with no need to have taxes on inheritance.

i love your enthusiasm for seeing Steemit evolve, and for the "virtual federations of freedom lovers" :)

yet i see no "need" to tax inheritance, which seems to be directly contrary to the whole freedom thingy...

lol, I forgot to put no in it. I meant a system that has no need to have inheritance taxes in it. The system itself should balance it out in the long run.
