With effect from 1st April 2018, Freewallet ceases to support Steem and the Steem wallet will be delisted from Freewallet apps.

In an official message (via email) to their users, Freewallet gave the following justification for their decision:

Asset security and blockchain stability are the key requirements for supporting a coin with Freewallet. Unfortunately, there have been too many issues with the Steem network recently. As a developer, we had to follow this up with additional maintenance on the Steem wallet. During the periods of maintenance, operations with Steem were unavailable, and our users didn't appreciate that.

We aim to provide excellent service to all Freewallet users. That's why we decided to discontinue supporting Steem in Freewallet apps.

Users have been forewarned to withdraw all Steem or exchange it for other currencies (within the Freewallet Multi Wallet) by 12:00 UTC on 1st April 2018. Failure to comply will result in loss of Steem so BEWARE!
