I think its all tied to price. We've seen a ton of decreased activity. For a lot of the newbies, they get no rewards basically, so there's less motivation and dedication to continue. Fortunately, I've noticed a decline in garbage spam type posts. The content seems to get getter and most of us are more dedicated Steemians.
