RE: Report for 26.01.2018 + NEWS ! We start our own curation trail ;-)
Hi, @upv4life, can you explain sone more about steemauto, I think IT midt be something I missed when using it, my voting power was used down to 20% because of the voting from steemauto on content they decided. Is there not any way to stop so my power doesn’t go that low? I use a lot of time in here and like to give upvote myself. What is best ? Letting steemauto use the voting power or use it myself?
I do not really understand your question...
Is there the possibility to let Steemauto decide on what to vote ?
As far as I know you can choose between two options: Fanbase or curation trail
At Fanbase you manually can create a list with people you want to upvote automatically and you also can set there the voting weigth and the time to wait before voting... Maybe you left the voting weight at 100 % then your voting power will decrease fast...
At curation trail you can follow a curation trail (like e.g. @upv4life) and you will upvote all posts the account resp. the curation trail you follow...
Even at curation trail you can change settings i.e. the voting weight and/or the time to wait before upvoting...
I hope I could help you but feel free to ask more deteiled or if something leads to misunderstandings...
As far as I know you can find some Tutorial vids regarding Steemauto on Youtube and on the developer's blog @mahdiyari and you will even get support on the channel of the developer on Discord https://discord.gg/ax998ZG
Ok, then I probably understand. I signed in on both, fan base and curation trail. This might be why, I will try to read more about it, it was probably my unkowledge that made this happen. Will give it some time to learn
just check the settings - you can adjust the voting weight and the time to wait before voting...
Thank you, do you have any recommendations?
follow curation trail @upv4life ;-)
Fun aside - curating is a balance act between being among the earlier voters and not coming into time punishment,
i.e. voting 1 minute after a post is published you will get your curation x 0.03, 2 minutes x 0.06... 15 minutes 50 % go to you 50 % to the author, 30 minutes 100 % go to you, none to the author (he still gets his 75 % but of the 25 % curation pool ;-) )
another important factor is to be amongst the early voters because they receive better curation factors than later voters...
so the curation reward depends on voting power x voting weight x timefactor x your place in the voting line...
you can check the september /october section of my main account @honolulu for more interessting facts regarding curation, growth in Steemit, etc. ...
Steem hard ;-)
