RE: Free the Food #41 ✔ | The Dumpster Diving Quest Continues... [2018-04-27]

Thank You @reko this is a great post for me as it has revealed a new and vibrant understanding of "Dumpster Diving" and not just the positive treasures that can be found but the social awareness aspect as well.
I must be honest and admit that the phrase "Dumpster Diving" I had attached negative images of homeless, addicts and 1/2 eaten garbage. Where your post truly shows a bounty that is being wasted. 🤗
I remember back in Australia at the end of special events in Warner Brothers (where I was entertaining) there was all this food that had to be thrown away due to regulations, while people were hungry on the streets. Mind you not that many on the Gold Coast like many other places in the world. I wanted to take what was left over and share to support groups but it was not allowed. Sad indeed.
I love your Farmers Market of freely sharing what groups of divers collect once or twice a week so you can experience the diversity and joys of others collections, and then what is left going to some help somewhere.
I'm eager to learn more from your posts and support a world where new all can have food and shelter as there is enough food produced to feed everyone and some social changes so that is more acceptable and possible is a good thing 🙂

thaks. there s indeed and think about all the food that's growing in nature and in our gardens...so much getting wasted but it shalll change...gonna work overtime for this cause!!! :D

Glad to hear it, I know we helped push for some community edible gardens in Washington where we were living. That is for anyone who wanted to harvest. Also Seattle changed its decorative plants to edible plants so anyone could eat the fruits and other foods that it provided.
