Steemit Changes, A Good Sign So FarsteemCreated with Sketch.

Finally seeing some changes to Steemit... makes me think more of what's to come, but I'm very skeptical about this Tron change.

We all know over the course of... well since Steemit was released, the site hasn't made much of a change. Most of the advancements were either onchain, or the layout of Steem Dapps. Steemit has come along way with very few changes. Its quite refreshing for them to finally have something related to 'communities', it could mean more things to come in the future, but the free downvotes, in my opinion, are not a good addition to the Steem chain.

We'll see how well it actually turns out!

Biggest thing I don't like so far... that posts in communities don't show up under "blog," you have to click over to posts. Which for me is counterintuitive and makes no sense. Anyways, as long as things are actively changing and the team is taking feedback, it's a good thing. And with Tron comes hopefully an increase in development budget, one of the main things that's been lacking on Steemit.

Also, the trending topics have been less prioritized, which is odd. The tags are the most important aspect of gaining more awareness.

Yeah, woah... what? I hadn't noticed that. Navigating by tags is a major thing, and I hoped they would make them more front-and-center, not less! Then again as long as the UI becomes modernized, I'm not too picky. We're still a long way from modern social media platform UX design.
