Bot Downvoters Need To Be Punished

I really dislike downvoters on Steem...
They ruin the experience for people, but people are free to vote how they please. I remember the days of downvote wars on Steemit. They've died down, but lots of people can just gain a lot of influence on Steem just by buying into it so if someone wanted to silence you from achieving a top spot on the trending list they could, regardless of how many years you've spent on this site building your follower list. It's a downside of Steem that we all have to live with. It sucks but it happens. It's still something that can be exploited, and now that there are new users who don't actually post anything and yet downvote people, there is no way to punish their unjust actions. Lots of bots just downvoting people and you can't do anything about it... now that sucks.

Its something that Steem developers need to fix, I'm confident they will.
