Basic Materials and Tools to perform the Metal Embossing Technique

When executing any technique, it is convenient to know the materials and tools to be used.
To make a basic embossment it is necessary to have as a single material, a sheet of metal with a grammage of approximately 0.26.

Tools
The fuzzy. It is a double-ended rolled paper pencil, used to generate volume in the metal sheet.}

The Embossment Kit. It has among other tools:

Profiles of rounded metal and Teflon tips, serve to define the edges of the design that is desired to emboss.
Bobbins, these tools at their ends have metal balls of different sizes, also allow to generate volume in the sheet.
The brush has steel hairs and its shape is usually round, it makes the blade shine.
Burin, used to transfer a design of the vegetable paper or template to the metal sheet, can be replaced by a ballpoint pen without ink.

Vegetable Paper. For its transparency and resistance in perfect to transfer designs to the blade to be embossed.

Hard surface like wood and soft like a folded sheet of paper.

Roller for Graphic Arts. This cylinder is allowed to roll on the aluminum sheet to flatten it, in order to be able to more easily transfer the image or design to emboss.

Universal adhesive, used to glue the sheet on the desired surface.
