BASIC GUIDE FOR REPUJADO IN METAL PART 2

Step 1. As in the yarn technique, it is necessary to transfer a design to the metal sheet, when we emboss, we must take into account that the designs are worked from the center to the outside, in this case we start first through the center of the flower, with the pencil of paper we generate a moderate volume for in reverse of the sheet, then for the right of it we review the center with the metal profilers and the Teflon.

Step 2. We continue working one petal at a time, again we give volume with the pencil of paper for the reverse, generating volume, remember that this step is made on a smooth surface, personally I use a sheet of paper folded in two to not generate a exaggerated volume, since this technique consists in giving a little pronounced volume.

Step 3. Then on the right we outline the contour of the petal of the flower with the profilers, on a hard surface such as wood or glass.

Step 4. With the Teflon tool that has the flattened end, we are eliminating the volume by the contour of the flower, obtaining a clean and clear image on a hard surface.
