Do we have any idea of how much Steem is actually stored on Poloniex?
I know there is a Poloniex account which has 50m Dollars but Poloniex could be using a form of fractional reserving to hold more than that in user accounts off chain on the exchange.
It would interested to see how much is actually stored on the exchange.
Poloniex account is not availlable coins, it's just accounting. All we know is that STEEM volumes were somewhere around $700K / 24h recentely.
