I Haven't Earned a Penny on Steem, and That's Ok!
Tonight I checked my Steemit profile and see the value of my account in $2.72. That is fine! I wasn't under any delusions that I would post an article and make thousands like Jeff Berwick. In fact, I expected not to make anything for a long time.
I basically want this to eventually grow and become something that people look forward to. If I make a buck, that'll be a bonus. Making money really isn't the primary reason I am on here. I feel like I have something to offer in the way entertainment, and maybe offer a different perspective on things.
Just a thought, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
Hi @eric-the-red - I only just "discovered" you because of your great response on my post. First - I love your attitude it's exactly what you need to keep going on Steemit. Don't worry about what other people are doing. Just concentrate on the topics you love and comment on subjects that move you. I've been here since mid-July, putting a lot of time and effort to build up my modest following and highlight people who should be getting more attention.
Secondly - don't give up! Steem on :)
Hey thanks! It is a labor of love for me.
Upvoted. You can add 3 more cents to your balance now ;) I like your perspective though, I wish more people on here felt the same!
Thanks! The game is a long one.
