Ironically one of my last posts were about this very issue of people leaving when Steem goes down.. I suppose it's just apart of human nature at the end of the day for most people..

I was impressed when scrolling through your feed, and seeing that you stuck with things through thick and thin. Really inspiring! I wish I was on Steemit at the time too! Respect.
