Trading at blocktrades is quite costly in comparison to binance. In binance you can also fix the bid rate but this option is not available in blocktrades.

Its true and the difference makes sense. @blocktrades has its own reserve while in binance you buy from other people.
But blocktrades supports more currencies. Binance has only 3 pairs btc/steem, eth/steem, bnb/steem. In blocktrades you can change also xmr, ltc, doge, dash and more. What if you want to change some doge? Binance dont support doge. You will have to use another market to get eth first before u can use binance. 2 changes. Cheaper at last? Dont think so
