Let's talk about Steem and how to make it widely accepted.

I joined Steemit January 2017 and since then, I have been involved in various offline and online activities promoting Steemit and the Steem Blockchain.
I created the Steem Accelerator Hub-STACH, with a plan to decentralize the offline and with that, I have gone on to be involved in lots of projects that have reshaped the Steem Blockchain and still doing more good.
I also just recently created sprtshub.io which is a sports sharing platform helping sports lovers to have a place to share all things sports. I am also part of some very amazing projects as well.
Fast forward to now.
The Steem Blockchain is undervalued blockchain (in terms of pricing on the exchanges) despite the life changing capacity it has. The Blockchain is responsible for liberating millions of users and non users worldwide. Yes, non-users.
- Users: Users of the Steem blockchain have been able to create endless streams of income just by being on the Steemit platform creating contents. Many who started out just for the money stayed for the community and more and they also have become valuable members of the Blockchain.
- Non-Users: Steemit was created with a love node and that makes it easy for her users to show love to everyone irrespective of their tribe, race, religious affiliation etc. With Steemit, hundreds of charitable organizations have been visited and donations running in to millions of dollars given.
Low Steem Price and lack of quality content.
Over the years since the existence of Steemit the blogging platform, there has been incidences of the continuous fall in the price of Steem and SBD which has brought about abandoned accounts by otherwise enthusiastic users who couldn't cope with the snail pace of development in new features and price increase.
To lots of people world over, they will tell you Steem is about blogging, but it is much more than that. The Steem Blockchain is robust and one of its robustness is Steemit.com, the blogging platform that rewards you for content creation.
We enjoyed a windfall in December of 2017 and since then, I am still wondering if we will ever see the price of Steem and SBD hit over 20usd.
What to do about an improved Steem Blockchain.
The Steem Blockchain is one of the most vibrant and community driven platforms anywhere in the world.
We also have various projects running on the Steem Blockchain and each of these projects have been adding value to the human race.
Looking around the Crypto space, I see lots of shitcoins with no use case trading higher than Steem and I wonder why? The Steem Blockchain has a use case that touches the core aspect of living and hence should be trading higher on every exchange.
How then do we improve engagements of the Steem Blockchain?- I believe we must as a matter of urgency do stuffs that will help the blockchain improve, an improvement that will bring about a higher Steem price.
What should we do now?
Since we are here and are looking forward to effecting change in the world, we have to do what we can to promote Steemit for wider adoption and growth.
Drop a comment about how you think we can bring improvements/awareness to Steemit and the Steem Blockchain. We need solutions and good roadmaps that will help.
Thanx for this godly minded post @ejemai. My own view might be a fresher's (newbie as you call it.) Bring steem into limelight by showcasing it on local and international TV. Not many have android phones. If these set of people with 'torchlight' phones understand the meaning of steem, they will be provoked to get better phones for browsing. Let the program on TV be like - you invite someone that knows about this blockchain thing who can make people understand the need to invest in steemit and bring their business to steemit; with audience at the background, kind of discussion program. I feel 'Project#20millionnaija' will be a thing of the pass. Also questions and answers program. Everything should not be online, if we want to get more people. Steemians should be out in the streets for campaigns (as you were going round campuses in those days). Secondly, let there be automatic valuable votes for good posts. People are discouraged after binging valueable post and no one is voting them. We are praying that the sbd should be skyrocketed soon. Many that have left steemit will come back in full force. May God give you more wisdom.

Dumoerss are the major cause of price dip if more of the rewards is paid in steem power it will cub the circulating volume of steem and sbd there by creating a stable price for steem, many steemians dump thier steem and sbd immediately after payout. Once most reward is lock down as steem power I think price stability will kick in. I also think this is will be implemented in hf 20
Okay thanks for this, I love steem, I sleep in steem and wake up in steem, that being said, increasing its value has always only been my dream and joy.
And if by sharing my idea here is going to make a difference to someone who can do something, then I will try my best.
I got into steem at the ending of December last year, and Ive noticed a lot of onboarding from different kinds of initiatives are in place rather than initiatives gearing users towards investing in the system.
I believe strongly that this can increase the value of steem, when new users can come in with a mind of investment, buy steem upon entry, we will see a drastic increase in the value of steem, a demand supply approach.

There are quite a number of people who still find it difficult to interpret the value proposition in Steem and that is where I think Steemit inc needs to step in.

Exactly! My thoughts too...I kept reading whitepapers of some cryptos with higher price and I felt bad seeing amazing life changing projects like Steem being lower.
I believe in pitching Steem to investors and organizations aimed at humanitarian activities. This is borne out of the philanthropic acts Steem has made on humanity in it's two years of existence....My team @steemminna is working on that and we hope to meet today for more brainstorming session.
Referral rewards should be effective as an alternative medium of earning on steemit with content rewards being in place...Those projects with high prices on coinmarket cap didn't reached there alone.
Steem promotions seem to be on the decline recently unlike what was obtainable in the first quarter of 2018

I agree with referral rewards, but unfortunately, Steemit doesn't have that and the platform has just been growing because some users invest their time to promoting it.

I believe that steemit influence will improve greatly if it can pull up to one-fift of the crowd in Facebook. Steemit user base is just about a million or a little bit more in comparison to the over 6 billion people in the world. Imagine steemit having over 20 million active users for instance. If more users can join the platform and they are encouraged to stay, the popularity of steemit will increase and this popularity may help bring in more investors into the steemit blockchain which may result in an increased price of steem and SBD. Steem and SBD will increase faster if there's mass sign up of users into the steemit blockchain. Just my thoughts
I agree with you, but encouraging users to stay is up to Steemit Inc. User retention can only be made available through upvote support and Steemit Inc and the owners have to start letting community builders have access to Steem power to support their various communities.
We did a lot of promotions and campaign for Steemit and brought the users, but thy soon got tired when their efforts were constantly being met with nothing while some got it all.

Thanks for the upvote and response. I think if everyone is given equal opportunity to get seen here, the new users will stand a higher chance of having reward for their posts. I think most new users come to the platform with great zeal to add great content to the platform But the influx of paid upvote is not helping them. You have to have something in your wallet first before you can be able to pay for upvote. If the use of paid upvote is limited, people will have more interest in going through people's post to know if such post worth an upvote or not. I see so many post without much meaning or information trending, while the ones putting in effort to write something meaningful are left in the base of the steemit ocean with no one or very few people paying attention to them. Thanks to people like you here that are trying to encourage those at the bottom of the steemit chain. We appreciate your effort.
I think steem price will just follow BTC price so if we would see another ATH for BTC then steem will get more attraction for investors and users particularly here at steemit and the ball will keep rolling and rolling, people will join in at steemit until steem price just hits more than 20 USD.
Well, that is everybody's submission, but I think for a Blockchain like Steem, it should be able to hold it's own without BTC because it's use case is mind blowing.

Here is my contribution to your post @ejemai. Well i believe we should constantly talk about it, just like commenting in videos on you-tubers that you like or making Facebook posts about Steemit on news sites and everywhere you can talk with other people online and also offline. Interact with people about steemit in public, i mean discuss about Steemit together in public to create that awareness i know alot of people are not aware of this platform till date.
We should aways tell people about steemit every where you go, the advantages of the platform and what you like about Steemit.We should endeavour to always show people those amazing possibilities here on Steemit.com.
It is also important for us to use all those various channels outside Steemit, for the fast adoption of Steemit , i guess then we need other social medias platform to promote the steemit blockchain. We can also try to
write comments that relate to steemit in a way which is humble, kind, inviting and appreciating.
I believe the harder every single one tries to put Steemit into a good spot in a nice way, the greater will our success be as a whole

Great thoughts and initiatives @ejemai with those projects.
My view is that there is need to educate people's minds out there who are still stuck in the centralised systems of this world. More so in the place of work. People out there need to realise that decentralised systems are the best ones to get engaged in.
If every steemian takes on the responsibility of telling some one out there about steem and also go an extra mile of educating their minds about the brand new money system "crypto." Then we shall see people investing in steem like never before which will then see the value of steem sky rocketing in the near by future.
I think we need a few major players here on steemit. Even if that means paying them to play. If we could manage to get one or two famous people to switch over to steemit then they would bring a huge following with them, depending on who they are. If we had a celebrity, sports player, famous musician, Etc. I think that would take steemit to the Moon. Everybody would be following them and jumping on their bandwagon. This person would also stand to gain a lot from their investment because others would be grateful for their appearance here and in turn give them more support. This could create a violent Whirlwind that would spin out of control and take steemit to the Moon.
