Time To Shutter-Step Buyin
Here we are at the end of August! A tiny bit of money has cleared my Coinbase account and I am ready to spend it. I hope to buy for this same amount every week for the next 7 weeks during the months of September and October. This has been my plan for quite some time.
The prudent trader in me says to buy Bitcoin. It's the safest bet and I can always transfer my Bitcoin into other assets later. However, the consumer in me says Bitcoin is boring. Why buy something that I don't actually want?
I'm seriously considering buying SBD. At 81 cents a coin that's just free money on the table. We all know it's going back up to $1 eventually. On the same note, while SBD is going up, Steem usually goes up much higher. Back when Steem bottomed at 22 cents SBD was around 60 cents. By the time SBD got back to $1 Steem was at 50 cents (67% gain vs 127% gain ).
As I look at the other coins on the market cap, I find myself having all the coins I want in all the other projects. The only coin I want more of is Steem. In a way it's strange, but in another very real way it makes a lot of sense. This is the only place I put my time and effort into. All of my other crypto investments are simply speculative. Invest in yourself.
HF 21/22 went a lot better than I expected. We seem to be doing just fine. SMTs will be along soon™. In addition, 16 cents per coin is basically double our all time low. This very well could be the new low and I would feel foolish for not buying at least some coins at this level (if only so I can make the claim later that I supported Steem during these "dire" times).
I choose STEEM or other staking coins because you can use them.
Bitcoin would just be for HODLing and buying things online when possible (unless you loan them out for interest.)

Same. I'm considering buying some BTC and LTC and just holding it for a while, cuz I can buy it directly. Even though I don't usually hold it. I do usually convert coins to LTC or another coin to buy something though.
Could be a possibility for a safe bet.
I myself need to buy more different coins. Even though I want to buy even more Steem, I need to diversify.

Ill be buying steem or sbd in September, I think BTC dominance will still increase so I have a feeling steem could hit 0.14/0.15 cents as an ultimate low. :)
I'm also buying BTC... and ETH. And I'm looking into Celsius and Nexo right now. 😎
