You are right on that. Each pillar is important for another, there shouldn't be an overthrow of each other.
Now we just need to find ways to make Steem even sexier to own and consume.
Right now I still the imbalance because it is still within the framework of content and curation. But once there are ways to expand further, I think this could be one of the ways that Steem can work towards what it's meant to be.

THis will change and is changing a little with the EIP and Steem DAO which moves it a little toward investor and developer movements.
