My Steem Account turned 2 this week and I'm almost half a Dolphin!
Welcome to the 74th weekly installment of my series on Steem income and growth!
Income on the Steem blockchain is generated by "investment" (the more currency you have, the more you earn) and by "work" (earning currency by contributing content that adds value). All my crypto holdings are in the STEEM currency. Now I'm working to earn more, by uploading unique valuable content to the blockchain.

It was a solid week even after I donated a large chunk of my income to Mission:Agua-Possible. 10 week moving average hit a new high of 3.4% growth per week. With the help of my team, I'm almost half a dolphin (5000 Steem).
If my team's funds were in a single account, it would be the 4282nd richest. We've been moving up 100-200 positions per week. I have another big 3Speak video paying out this week, here.
Having done this without input from the fiat currency world is interesting, and I feel somewhat accomplished. Those 2368 STEEM represent hard work - vlogging, modeling, writing, editing, research, comments, curation, etc etc. No bots, no curation trails, no buying votes, no selling votes, no delegations. A very simple and straightforward financial situation, allowing for expanded usage of the data I've been collecting.
Cool, 2 years on the Steem blockchain, full time for 20 months of that. It has been interesting.
Let's hope our currency surges upward toward twenty cents this week.

Half a dolphin, kinda, when all added together as a team, including the $5k initial investment last year....... hmmm..... yay?

And the Steemit team is asking "how do we onboard and retain new users?"
Stop dumping the currency by the millions, that would help!

Thanks bud, me too. A lot of my friends/supporters have disappeared lately. I don't take it personally, I think it's just because they don't enjoy Steem and it doesn't offer them anything. I need to find somewhere else to do my thing. I'll keep doing it here, too, unless it becomes even more inconvenient and expensive to do so!
