I also recommend you listen to the eos cointalk on YouTube. It's also long but it is good.. but basically there are more transactions on steemit than either Bitcoin or ethereum. You don't notice it but me just liking this post is a transaction if that makes any sense. I'm giving you some pennies.. so just think of a Facebook like as a transaction or a Reddit upvote.
