RE: [Discussion Post] Is Steem really a social blockchain?

in #steem5 years ago

We can all agree it's much more than just a social blockchain. My first experience with steemit felt like staring at someone's attempt to combine Reddit and medium. was it cool "definitely". Did I get the idea behind it "absolutely...not".

I'll divert a litle here

During the first few months, I've noticed... well considering @doingdailies comment, It's noticeable. The difficulty in doing something worthwhile to one's self on this platform as everyone frolicks to the sector of the "platform" which commands or promises the highest reward. This conception could be confirmed by the amount of inactive accounts locked at 14 SP created solely for the purpose of saying "I onboarded......to Steemit....."

as regards your question...

With respect to the very diverse communities established under this platform, it would be fair to say this platform could be used for almost anything plus one more. In the long run, steemit might just replace the pure social media platforms once it gains enough traction.
Wanna guess why?
