I'm still confused by the new 'mana' and rc. I guess I'm hopeless with it, but hoping to have voting power back . I think I voted at the wrong time during hardfork as I have still not regained voting power very high and my mana is still slowly building? :/

Do we still have a weekly challenge?

Here's our first take at what the new lingo means. Hopefully this helps!

Resource Credits (RC's) - allow the Steem blockchain to operate efficiently. RC's are calculated on a scale from 0-100%, they keep tabs on all of your actions and are constantly regenerating. The more Steem Power you hold, the faster your RC's regenerate.

RC's are burned each time a user performs actions on the blockchain such as comments, post-publishing, votes, transfers, power-ups, and most importantly - creating new accounts. Every action on - any - blockchain carries a computational cost. RC's are like a precious invisible resource that Steemians can use to pay for actions.

Voting Mana (VM) - is directly correlated to your votes on a scale from 0-100%. When RC's are burned to pay for votes, your VM goes down as well. But just like your precious RC's, Mana regenerates over time.
