Random Thoughts III
It has been awhile since I just let thoughts flow out in my blog. Number one on my mind is what's going on with steem. My last post received a comment about a situation that is going on and if I am not watching my witness votes, I should vote as #berniesanders. What the fuck is that all about? I am here because I like the idea of it being an investment, with an opportunity to blog about the things I love. I haven't been involved for a full year yet, so there are things that I still need to learn about the platform. I love reading and upvoting the other cool posts, especially some of the marvelous photography out there. If any of you more informed bloggers feel like explaining to me what is going on with the platform in general, I am all ears.
People around me are beginning to freak out about the Corona Virus. I just went to a local Rite Aid and their hand sanitizer section is bare! I hear from one source that hand sanitizers are ineffective and another tells me to use those that contain 60% alcohol. People are normally getting colds and the flu at this time of year, so it is going to be hard to determine which person sneezing is more dangerous. I understand that precautions must be in place, but I believe that some of the reporting is creating a panic. Just look at the hand sanitizer section in any food or drugstore.
I don't like bringing up politics, but watching the Democratic debates was like watching the old Comedy Central Roasts. The first debates saw all the Democratic hopefuls destroying Donald Trump. Now, they are destroying each other. My big question is: how does one become a Democratic Socialist? You should either be a member of one or the other. And where are all the independent candidates? With the 2-party system dividing the country, this would be a perfect time for an independent candidate to swoop in. People are always complaining about voting for the lesser of two evils, so let's bring in and promote some of the other parties. I know that there is plenty of money at stake, but let's get back to voting for someone's platform and not how great they are when it comes to digging up dirt on their opponent. The Trump witch hunt, as well as his childish tweets, just makes all of them look like idiots.
The New York Yankees revamped their training staff and what happens during spring training, we are looking at beginning the season without Judge, Stanton, Severino and Paxton. To make matters worse, German still has a suspension to finish up. I understand the staff is brand new, but a team cannot survive too many years like the injury totals of last year. The WWE, who has a larger roster, doesn't even experience the injuries that the Yankees did over a baseball season. And they play with tables, ladders and chairs!
That sure felt good to get all that out! There is more festering, but these rants need to be taken in small doses.
