RE: The fastest way to kill steem-welcome the gambling dapps + a contest, 40,000 ken tokens up for grabs

Yes sir, its just a whole lot annoying to see developers go the easy route instead of fully utilizing it in other creative ways

the end result is also not pleasant, from my experience, the exit is always painful.

At the end, the users lose, less than 5% make any significant gain, while the gambling company makes big gains.

Also, crypto gambling companies don't need to follow any rules, which are very strict when it comes to traditional gambling palaces, heck, we dont even know who is behind some of these services.... but when a legit business comes up, many people ask for stringent criteria, including showing your face to the world and the likes before they throw their money in.... talk about double standards.

Well, you are quite right in that aspect. Still, I want to believe that folks that are into blockchain betting know exactly what they are getting into except for some few noobs. The truth is there is absolutely nothing we can do about them without losing the integrity of being a decentralized blockchain. However, we can only continue to sensitize people about the likely consequences of gambling on these platforms, like you just did in this post. No betting outlet, be it online or in real life will ever set up to lose.
